About Us
From a single OPD floor to a 50-bed hospital
Mediworld began as a small consulting practice on Airport Road, run by Dr. Irfan Ansari after fifteen years in chest medicine and diabetes care. Patients kept arriving with the same problem: the diagnosis was available locally, but the admission, the surgery and the follow-up were not.
The hospital grew around that gap. Inpatient wards came first, then a modular operation theatre, an ICU with ventilator support, an in-house pathology lab and digital imaging. Consultants across nine specialities joined so that a case could be handed between departments without leaving the building.
Today the campus treats families from Darbhanga, Madhubani, Samastipur and Sitamarhi — many of them under Ayushman Bharat, at no cost to the household.
